Meet WASL-01 — and step into the Training Bay

Since the solar system update, we've been heads-down on the part of the game that matters most: your first five minutes.

The Training Bay

New pilots no longer get dropped into the galaxy cold. You now start in the Training Bay, where Codex — an old explorer who knows the KnowledgeVerse better than anyone — walks you through the basics: how challenges work, how to read feedback, and how to recover when an answer goes wrong.

That last part is the whole point. In the KnowledgeVerse, a wrong answer isn't a fail state — it's raw material. The tutorial is built so your first mistake is a safe one, explained clearly, and turned into something you keep.

Meet WASL-01

Say hello to your companion. WASL-01 is a small AI guide that now roams with you across the game — dock it into a terminal, ask it questions, and get Socratic hints on any challenge type: coding tasks, multiple choice, all of it.

One rule is wired deep into WASL-01: it guides, it never answers. It will ask you the question that gets you unstuck, point at the concept you're missing, and let the "aha" stay yours.

The Logbook

Solved something the hard way? Hit Save to Logbook and the explanation becomes part of your personal knowledge collection — then Try in Terminal lets you take any snippet and run it yourself, right there.
